New dental laboratory workbench designed for maximum ergonomics and efficiency

This new composition for dental laboratories is custom-designed and manufactured to optimise the technicians’ workflow, improve ergonomics and make intelligent use of available space. It is a five-station dental laboratory workbench (models BLM101-35 and BLM1 indicated in the 2D technical layout), engineered to ensure order, practicality and efficiency in daily tasks.

Design philosophy of the dental workbench

Our architect followed a precise logic based on a specific client requirement: creating a central work island that allows dental technicians to work smoothly, without interference and with excellent visual communication. The bench is the result of combining ergonomics, modular organisation and equipment integration.

Ergonomics designed around the dental technician’s workflow

The curved shapes of the dental workbench are fully functional. Each station is designed to:

bring the work surface closer to the operator
provide natural arm and elbow support
reduce repetitive movements
keep essential tools within easy reach

Integrated LED lighting

Each workstation features fixed and tilting LED lamps. The light can be directed precisely onto models, ceramic work or metal structures, avoiding shadows and ensuring consistent visual comfort.

Useful shelves and a permanently tidy workspace

The upper shelves offer dedicated space for:

materials and small machinery
keeping the work surface tidy

Drawers and dedicated storage areas

Each workstation includes:

deep drawers

Complete space optimisation

The workbench is designed to fit an area of 4370 × 2940 mm, maintain comfortable walkways, create an efficient central island and coordinate workflows, access and equipment layout.
